The Bachelorette Party
Sam hosts a bachelorette party for Alberta’s grandniece but Alberta distrusts her fiancé due to him being a musician. Sas and Alberta nearly ruin the wedding using Sas’ ghost power. And Trevor tries to ensure Jay’s restaurant gets a good review but potentially crosses a line with Jay.

Wedding Nuptials
The episode starts with Sam talking to the stripper who performed at Isaac’s bachelor party in season three about performing at a bachelorette party for Alicia, Alberta’s descendant. Alicia is excited and the ghosts listen in as she describes her fiancé. Alberta approves until learning he’s a musician. She insists a musician will break her descendant’s heart and tells a tale of when she and her fiancé parted ways with one of them never coming back.

Her suspicions get worse when she overhears the groom-to-be talking to one of the bridesmaids about coming over for some “night sugar.” Alberta is convinced he’s cheating, so she uses Sas to invade Alicia’s dreams and claim that her fiance is cheating. This causes Alicia to enter a tailspin. She runs to talk to one of her bridesmaids which angers Alberta because it’s the bridesmaid she thinks the fiance is cheating with. But everything turns around when it comes out the bridesmaid is the groom’s sister and “Night Sugar” is a TV show.
Alberta Gives a Sign
Alicia believes heavily in signs and can’t shake the dream. She packs up her stuff and gets ready to leave. Alberta is trying to find a way to convince Alicia to go to sleep, so Sas can reassure her, but Alicia just drank coffee and isn’t tired. Alberta decides it’s time to use her own ghost power to give Alicia a sign that it’s okay to get married. She hums one of her own songs that Alicia knows and reinforces Alicia’s belief in love.

Alberta eventually reveals the reason she didn’t trust musicians isn’t because her fiance was a musician who left her, but she was a musician who left a fiancee behind. She carries around guilt until Sam reveals that her ex found love and lived with his wife, kids and grandkids until passing peacefully at the age of 84.
As the bachelorette party prepares to leave, Sam has a surprise for them. The stripper she was talking with earlier is set to provide Alicia with an experience she won’t forget. Sam ordered the “It’s Raining Men” package and the stripper is skydiving to the location before beginning his act, but something is about to go wrong.
Restaurant Review
In the B story, Jay’s restaurant is awaiting a review that Jay feels could be make or break. Pete goes to the office and overhears that it’s going to be a great review. However, Trevor reveals he used his ghost power to bribe the reviewer. Jay can’t hear the ghosts, so the plan is to not tell him and let him think it’s a good review based on his work. Unfortunately, the reviewer (played by Joe Lo Truglio from Brooklyn 99 fame) uses a phrase that Jay has heard but only from Trevor and he quickly puts everything together.

Jay seeks out the reviewer and asks him to write a new review from what he truly believes. The reviewer says he won’t give back the money but Jay says he just wants a fair review which impresses the reviewer due to how honest Jay is despite someone in the restaurant giving a bribe. The reviewer re-releases the review reaffirming he really did enjoy the food and removes the references he got from Trevor. Things are looking up when something comes crashing down. It’s the stripper who was supposed to be skydiving to the bachelorette party. He hops up and wonders how he survived when the ghosts inform him that he didn’t.
Rating
The final episode of Ghosts before the NCAA Tournament break will have a new ghost that’s bound to impact the camaraderie around the house. Chris, the stripper ghost, was a crush of Isaac’s that ultimately led to the dissolution of his engagement to Nigel. How will Isaac or Nigel react to Chris’ presence as a ghost?
Plus, this is bad news for Jay’s restaurant. Just as things were looking up following the mafia’s run-in on his place, a person dies by crashing through the roof. This will be bad publicity for the restaurant, and the tag of last week’s episode showed Jay talking to a potential publicist who had Hetty’s ex-husband, Elias, possessing the body. Could Jay turn to this publicist and it cost him his soul? Things are getting juicy at Woodstone Manor.
